Frequently Asked Questions
Multiply the original price by 0.80 (100% − 20%). For example, $100 × 0.80 = $80 final price.
Divide the sale price by (1 − discount%). For example, $80 ÷ 0.80 = $100 original price.
The calculator uses $ by default. The math works for any currency — just apply it to your own prices.
((original − sale) ÷ original) × 100. For example, $40 off $200 = 20%.
You pay 80% of the original price. For $50, that is $10 off and a final price of $40.
